A Minecraft mod can do almost anything at this point. You can give yourself new armour sets to make the game feel like Terraria, or you can just change world generation to allow for proper underground rivers. This mod doesn’t alter your gameplay experience in any way. It simply requires you to be aware of everything you’ve done. While Minecraft already tracks quite a number of stats, there can always be more information. If you just love a good chunk of statistics to look at, then you should absolutely look into the Better Statistics Screen mod.
This mod is still very still in its infancy. It’s been available for less than an entire week on CurseForge. However, it has already received more than 11k downloads as of this writing. It adds in a huge variety of trackable statistics, and allows you to filter them, switch tabs and generally look at them in the way you like. It lets you look at the biomes you’ve visited where you’ve been miningthem, the items you’ve been using, and more.
It allows you to unlock certain game advancements, as it keeps track of everything in a more accessible manner. Because you can see exactly how far you’ve come, it makes “A Healthy Diet”, and “Monsters Hunted” easier to unlock.
While this mod doesn’t change the gameplay in any way, it’s a nice little addition that adds in an enormous chunk of utility, and you can download the Better Statistics Screen mod from CurseForge here.
